Here's a bit of computer history for the masses...

"Stanford University graduates Larry Page and Sergey Brin collaborate on an Internet search engine they call 'BackRub', named for its unique ability to analyze the back links pointing to a given website. They rename the search engine and officially open up Google for business on September 7, 1998. The Google name is a play on the word googol, a mathematical term that refers to the number represented by the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros."

Today, both Larry and Sergey are billionaires!
