TOPIC: Radical Islam is Our Sworn Enemy; Why Doesn't Our Government See That Fact?
Article from ChristiansUnite.com
Colonel David Hunt told Fox News last week that our soldiers could have killed Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri in 2005. However, they were stopped from taking any action by then Secretary of State, Donald Rumsfeld.
What were the reasons for this insane decision? We are told that it was to protect the fragile democracy of President Musharraf in Pakistan and to further President Bush's goal of establishing democracies. When will we realize these people do not want a democracy, they want a government controlled by Radical Islam?
Apparently President Bush thinks by insisting upon giving them a democratic form of government they will accept it. What President Bush doesn't seem to realize is that these people are not our friends, they are our sworn enemies. Why don't we understand that Radical Islam is the greatest threat America has ever faced since World War II? Why don't we understand the words of Jihad being spoken nearly every day by Iran's President Ahmadinejad? Why don't we realize that Radical Islam teaches its followers to lie to non-believers?
Don Swarthout, President of Christians Reviving America's Values (CRAVE) said, "The real question is, Why doesn't America realize these Radical Islamic countries are our sworn enemies and that we must be defeat them by a show of force? Force is the only thing they understand." Swarthout said, "America has to wake up very soon to the real threat these people pose to our nation. Our leaders talk about the amount of chatter heard today like it is nothing. They had better wake up to the fact that Al Qaeda and Radical Islam are very real threats to us." Swarthout concluded, "We have become so politically correct that we have lost track of how America should act. Those who teach tolerance are really teaching us not to express our true opinions. Whatever happened to our freedom of speech everyone is always hollering about? Where is the value in not saying anything when you strongly disagree with something?"

CRAVE is contacting our Senators and Congressman to ask who is keeping a watchful eye on all of the Radical Islamic groups. We strongly suggest that our readers do the same. You may call 202/225-3121 and they will connect you to your Congressman and Senator's offices in Washington D.C.

TOPIC: Statement from Schoolgirl Following Purity Ring Ruling
Article from ChristianToday
Statement from schoolgirl Lydia Playfoot following the High Court's decision to uphold a ban on her wearing a purity ring by her school, Millais School in West Sussex.

"I am very disappointed by the decision this morning by the High Court not to allow me to wear my purity ring to school as an expression of my Christian faith not to have sex outside of marriage. I believe that Mr. Justice Supperstone’s decision will mean that slowly, over time, people such as school governors, employers, political organisations and others will be allowed to stop Christians from publicly expressing and practising their faith.

Over two years ago, I was concerned at the number of teenagers who were catching sexually transmitted diseases, getting pregnant and/or having abortions. The Government's Sex Education Programme is not working, and the pressure on young people to 'give in' to sex continues to increase. This is often because of the media’s focus on sex and the expectations of others.

As a Christian I do not agree with sex before marriage. I believe I have a right not only to state my Christian views on sex, but also to demonstrate my Christian faith and commitment to God and my future husband not to have sex before marriage, through the wearing of a purity ring.

I, along with 11 other Christian girls at Millais School decided before God that we would make a commitment not to have sex before marriage, and as a sign of that commitment, to wear a simple silver ring from the ‘Silver Ring Thing’ movement. The wearing of the ring was to me, a demonstration of my Christian faith and values, which are based on the Bible – which clearly teaches that sex outside of marriage is wrong and therefore not God's best for us. Despite the fact that Muslims girls at our school wear headscarves, and Sikhs wear Kara bangles, the school refused to allow me to manifest my belief through the wearing of a ring.

The School Governors originally said it was for Health and Safety reasons that purity rings were banned from school, but have offered no evidence to support the view that wearing a ring could physically harm another pupil or staff member. I still believe the decision by the Governors of the School goes against the Article 9 rights to Freedom of Religion and my right to express my faith in word or deed, in a democratic, Christian-based country. I shall be consulting my legal team to consider whether to appeal.

Finally I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents, family and friends who have stood by me though all of this, and to the many hundreds of people, both locally in Horsham, across the UK and throughout the world who have sent me letters of support and assured me of their prayers. I would also like to thank the national press and media for the balanced way in which they have covered this story, and have portrayed it for what it is; another example of the loss of the right of Christians to demonstrate their faith in public.

Lastly, but by no means least, I would like to thank my barrister, Mr Paul Diamond, and Mrs Andrea Minichiello Williams of the Lawyers' Christian Fellowship for all their advice, guidance and support through what is a legal and political minefield for a 16-year-old schoolgirl to walk through. I would also like to thank Paul Eddy, of Paul Eddy PR who has guided me through the maze of working with the national press and media.

To everyone I offer my thanks, and I deeply regret that I could not persuade the Court to consider upholding the religious liberty of Christian people in the United Kingdom.

As a Christian though, I live for another Kingdom, and serve another King, Jesus Christ, and therefore I shall continue to live and speak for what is right and true.
Thank you.
Miss Lydia Playfoot

Interview: Former Guitarist of Korn Reflects on Conversion, Freedom from Drugs
Money, fame, success; you’ve got it all, right? Not according to Brian “Head” Welch, the former lead guitarist and founder of multi Grammy-winning nu-metal rock band Korn. The mega rock star details his life story in his new book, Save Me From Myself: How I found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story. The biography, released 7 July (07/07/07), explains the freedom he received from a life devastated by drugs and entangled in the negative lifestyle that comes with being in an out-of-control band. His testimony is of a life that hit rock bottom, but was lifted up by Christ. Christian Today caught up with the musician at his hotel in New York. His long pony tails, split braided goatee and tattoos may not have given him the appearance of a typical Christian, but his witness was a heartfelt and sincere testimony to what God has done in his life.

TOPIC: Child's Alleged 'Ecstasy Trip' Posted Online
This is a sickening story. Teenage girls laughing, poking and prodding a 5-6 year old girl whom someone obviously gave a hit of ecstasy (the date rape drug). The child's eyes continually roll back in her head (one of the signs of "X" intoxication). The teenagers get a huge kick out of the plight of the little girl -- all while traveling through city streets of what authorities believe is Houston, Texas. I almost cried as I watched the video -- at the lack of compassion for the child, at the fact that these teenage girls could derive fun from such a horrible thing and that there was likely an adult driving the minivan that carried this slut circus through town.
Here's the article and link to the video:
HOUSTON -- It's the video that's making the rounds on the internet (most likely on YouTube)
Investigators are trying to track down a little girl seen in a home video, and other teenage girls. The video shows a little girl riding without a safety seat on the floor of what appears to be a mini van in the Houston area. There are several teenage girls who claim the child may be on the drug ecstasy. The child's eyes are also seen rolling back in her head.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying her or any of the girls in the video. Jackson County sheriff's officials say they would like to do a welfare check on the child to determine if she's okay. Chief Deputy Curt Gabrysch says if you know who the child is, to please contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Department or your local police department.
Again, if you know anyone in the video, PLEASE contact law enforcement and give them the names. Someone needs to check on the welfare of the little girl -- and hold everyone involved responsible for the crimes they committed against her.

UPDATE: 7/11/07 - Teenage girls located, but claim there was no drug use. Um, they are lying -- so keep investigating and you'll find the truth.

UPDATE #2: Planned Parenthood Sues Wichita DA Kline for Abortion Records
TOPEKA, Kansas -- A Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Overland Park, Kansas, has sued Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline, presumably for the return of subpoenaed abortion records. The suit, called a "Writ of Mandamus," was filed with the Kansas Supreme Court on June 6, 2007, and ordered sealed at Planned Parenthood's request the following day.
The purpose of a writ of mandamus is to compel an official to do his job. Kline had subpoenaed the abortion records when he served as Attorney General during his investigation of Planned Parenthood and abortionist George R. Tiller for illegal late-term abortions and the concealment of child rape. Kline was granted access to the records with only weeks left in his administration. He filed no charges against Planned Parenthood at that time.
Planned Parenthood fought a three-year losing battle to prevent Kline from inspecting abortion records that he and a Shawnee County judge believed contained possible evidence of crimes. Kline and Planned Parenthood are not commenting on the sealed case.
However, Attorney General Paul Morrison issued a letter to Planned Parenthood last week informing them that Kline had copies of the records. At a press conference on June 28, Morrison stated, "And we were able to find that Phill Kline had, on his last day in office as attorney general, had used the power of this office to assign those files to him in his new job as Johnson County District Attorney, totally on his own - no oversight."
"It's pretty hypocritical of Morrison infer that the forwarding of evidence to a county prosecutor is something sinister when it is done every day," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "It is also hypocritical for the abortionists to call Kline 'Snoop Dog' for daring to investigate them when Morrison has proved to be their lapdog by not prosecuting the more serious crimes against Tiller, and now is acting as a birddog for Planned Parenthood, directing them to where records might be so they can continue their efforts to hide what we believe is incriminating evidence. ... The charges of illegal late-term abortions and covering up for child rapists are serious ones," said Newman. "By filing suit and sealing proceedings, Planned Parenthood is telegraphing to the world that they have a lot to hide."

FOLLOW-UP TO JUNE 21 STORY: Tiller Associate Cut Immunity Deal in Illegal Abortion Case
Reason to believe that Tiller and Neuhaus committed hundreds of violations of the law
WICHITA, Kansas -- Ann Kristen Neuhaus struck a deal for limited immunity with former Attorney General Phill Kline in exchange for her cooperation in his investigation against the notorious abortionist George R. Tiller. The current State Attorney General, Paul Morrison, is honoring the agreement in a case filed Thursday charging Tiller with 19 criminal counts based on abortion records obtained by Kline from a three-month period in 2003.
In exchange for immunity, Neuhaus gave statements under oath that spoke of her involvement in Tiller's late-term abortion practice. According to Kansas law, two doctors who are financially and legally unaffiliated, must agree that a pregnant woman faces "substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function" before an abortion after 21 weeks can be done. Neuhaus provided that second opinion for Tiller's late-term abortions.
Operation Rescue first reported the Tiller/Neuhaus arrangement last August after being informed of it by a confidential source that participated in the grand jury investigation against Tiller in the 2005 death of late-term abortion patient Christin Gilbert. Neuhaus has had no medical office of her own since 2002, when she closed her Lawrence abortion mill under financial pressure created by allegations that she had proceeded with an abortion on a woman who had withdrawn her consent. The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts declared in an emergency order that Neuhaus was a "danger to the public, an immediate threat, not limited to the likelihood of patient injury."
"According to the grand jury source and our own investigations, the only way Neuhaus has access to patients is at Tiller's invitation," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "She travels to Wichita in one of Tiller's old cars, she uses his office facilities, and she sees his patients. She signs a form and is paid via personal check from each patient. If Neuhaus doesn't sign the form - and there is reason to believe that she did sign in every case - then Tiller cannot do the abortion. If Tiller does not invite Neuhaus to his office, she has no means of getting paid."
"Tiller and Neuhaus had a symbiotic relationship in which neither of them could benefit financially without the other," said Newman. "If this relationship was illegal in 2003, then it was also illegal in '04, '05, '06, and '07. ... The 19 charges brought by Morrison are just the tip of the iceberg," said Newman. "Tiller very likely violated this portion of the law hundreds of times. That does not even count the more serious phony mental health excuses behind the abortions that Morrison has refused to deal with. There is a lot more illegal activity going on at that clinic than is being reported, and we demand that additional records be inspected and additional charges be brought, for the sake of the innocent lives that should have legal protection in Kansas, but don't."

Operation Rescue recently made headlines when it bought and closed an abortion clinic in Wichita, Kansas and has become the voice of the pro-life activist movement in America. TOPIC: Store Video Shows Customers Stepping Over Stabbing Victim
Article from FOXNews.com
WICHITA, Kansas — As stabbing victim LaShanda Calloway lay dying on the floor of a convenience store, five shoppers, including one who stopped to take a picture of her with a cell phone, stepped over the woman, police said. The June 23 situation, captured on the store's surveillance video, got scant news coverage until a columnist for The Wichita Eagle disclosed the existence of the video and its contents Tuesday. The video showed the 27-year-old Calloway struggling to her feet and collapsing three times without anyone helping her. Worse, one woman who stepped over Calloway four times while shopping eventually paused to snap a photo of her with a cell phone.
"It was tragic to watch," police spokesman Gordon Bassham said Tuesday. "The fact that people were more interested in taking a picture with a cell phone and shopping for snacks rather than helping this innocent young woman is, frankly, revolting." It took about two minutes for someone to call 911, he said. "This is one of the most disgusting examples of disregard for life I've ever seen," Bassham said of the video. "It is a very, very tragic video to watch. It was revolting to see this lack of humanity."
Calloway, 27, died later at a hospital. Two people -- Cherish M. McCullough and George R. Brown -- turned themselves in to police and were arrested in connection with the death. The district attorney's office will have to decide whether any of the shoppers could be charged, Bassham said. It was uncertain what law, if any, would be applicable. A state statute for failure to render aid refers only to victims of a car accident.
Eagle columnist Mark McCormick told The Associated Press he learned about the video when he called Wichita Police Chief Norman Williams to inquire about a phone call he had received from a reader complaining about a Police Department policy that requires emergency medical personnel to wait until police secure a crime scene before rendering aid. McCormick said Williams then unloaded on him about the shoppers in the stabbing case. Williams told the newspaper. "I could continue shopping and not render aid and then take time out to take a picture? That's crazy. What happened to our respect for life?"

SopeBocks: This is an example of the LACK of compassion we have for each other in this country. The violence we see no longer bothers us. We don't want to "get involved", so we step over victims and go about our business. As I've said many times before, we will reap what we sow -- and this is a prime example of what has been sewn through TV, movies, video games, music and the violence of the hip-hop culture. If you think I'm wrong, think about this -- even in countries where terrorist bombings are "regular" occurrence, citizens don't step over dying victims to buy a candy bar. They HELP those victims. In those cultures, there are NO Manhunt or GTA video games, Die Hard movies, hip-hop gangstas nor any The Shield style TV shows. If we do not cherish life, it will not have any value.
When is America going to wake up?!? Compassion is a basic tenant of civilized society. IF we lose it (and we're well on the way to that end), anarchy WILL follow.
