TOPIC: Screen Actors Guild Awards Show
The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards Show was televised on TNT last night. Although I normally don't waste my time watching this type of show, my lovely wife wanted to see the stars' dresses, etc. So, we sat together for an hour of boob tube viewing.
In this age of ultra-left, liberalism in Hollywood, I think that SAG should be renamed FAG -- Fake Actors Garbage -- not only for the obvious connotation, but to more accurately describe the actors and actresses. With the mega-egos displayed by these folks, it was hilarious to see them attempt to show humility and grace when accepting the awards. As for the other connotation, that behavior was all too present throughout the show.
Oh, and one more thing -- females who act are called actresses, not actors. Actors are MALE. More political correctness from Hollywood.
Lastly, the pure garbage of shows and movies that won awards show the lack of intelligence and cultural acuity that pervades Hollywood. Some of the most perverse, disgusting and offensive actors/actresses, movies and shows were not only nominated, but won awards. Specifically, Desperate Housewives, Brokeback Mountain and LOST were among the SAG winners, as was the sickeningly effeminate actor from Will & Grace.
If this is all TV and SAG have to offer, I'm glad my family doesn't watch network TV anymore.
