TOPIC: Compassion...
Have we, as a nation, lost our compassion? When I turn on the TV, it looks that way to me. Movies are even worse. The sick, hurt or invalid is abused for being weak. The strong, winner or successful is hated for being prosperous. An accident happens and people just laugh. Someone is killed and people galk, then walk away. What happened to caring enough to stand up for the weak? What happened to applauding the prosperous for being successful? What happened to lending a hand when someone is down?
If we lose our compassion, we will lose our moral compass as well. THINK about it. Compassion is a key element in society. If we don't care & share, we will not get along with one another -- no matter what ideas (to the contrary) TV & movies try to indoctrinate us with.
